8-9 жовтня 2009 р. Центр комерційного права провів два семінари для підприємців Криму.  Програма правової просвіти для представників малого і середнього бізнесу виконується спільно з Державним комітетом з питань регуляторної політики та підприємництва. Керівники чотирьох департаментів Держкомпідприємництва розповіли слухачам про державну політику розвитку малого і середнього підприємництва в умовах фінансової кризи, про оптимізацію процедур отримання дозвільних документів та перспективи розвитку ліцензування, а також розглянули проблеми, що виникають у сфері

державної реєстрації суб’єктів господарювання. Юридичний радник Центру комерційного права І. С. Ніколаєв поінформував підприємців про судові та позасудові засоби вирішення конфліктів у комерційному обороті та про примусове виконання зобов’язань. Впродовж багатьох років партнером Центру на ниві правової просвіти виступає Спілка підприємців і роботодавців Криму та особисто її президент О.М. Дудко. Методи подання необхідних юридичних знань та життєво важливої інформації, прекрасна організація,  атмосфера щирого спілкування та надзвичайно корисний обмін досвідом здобули позитивну оцінку підприємців Криму – учасників цих семінарів.

On September 24, 2009 the Commercial Law Center jointly with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine held the International scientific-practical conference on the topic “Judicial enforcement reform: challenges and prospects”.

Among the conference participants were the Ukrainian parliamentarians, representatives of the government bodies of power and judicial system, scientists and leading experts in the sphere of law, foreign experts and mass media.

The plenary meetings were dedicated to the analysis of the current state of judicial enforcement in Ukraine and discussion of the European experience in reforming the judicial enforcement system, problematic issues of judicial enforcement and further ways for its reforming.

On September 2, 2009 a solemn meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on the Issues of Industrial and Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship was held.

N. Korolevska, the Committee head, honored leading CLC experts Yuriy Popov and Mykola Slusarevsky with honorary certificates for their contribution to the development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine.

CLC had been fruitfully cooperating with the Committee to ensure effective development of public - private partnership in Ukraine, to combat illegal merger of enterprises and to reform the system of issuing permits and licenses

On September 4, 2009 round table discussion was held in Yalta. It was dedicated to the following topic: “The Law of Ukraine “On Joint Stock Companies”: major novels”. Its organizers were the Commercial Law Center jointly with the Territorial Department of the State Commission on Securities and Stock Market in the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea and Sevastopol.

In her introduction speech the Commercial Law Center Director Valentyna Danishevska emphasized the urgency and actuality of the reforms in the area of regulating corporate relations.  Mr. Mykola Burmaka, member of the State Commission on Securities and Stock Market spoke about the state priorities in implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On Joint Stock Companies”, aimed at ensuring positive development of corporate relations and ownership relations in Ukraine. Heads of territorial departments focussed their attention on regional peculiarities of securities market and specifics of the Crimean corporate sector.

In June 2009 the Commercial Law Center and the Academy of Judges of Ukraine held two seminars for judges of commercial courts on the following topics: “Corporate disputes: protecting shareholders’ rights at the commercial courts” and “ Problems in disputes resolution regarding binding relations”. Judges from different regions of Ukraine addressed such issues as: “General  characteristics of private and public joint stock companies in accordance with the Law “On Joint Stock Companies” and their distinction from open and closed joint stock companies”, “Practice of hearing cases on protecting shareholders’ rights at the commercial courts: a comparative aspect”, “Specifics of implementation of the Law “On Joint Stock Companies”, possible problems in its application and registration procedures”, “General provisions on liabilities and on contracts”, “Extra contractual liabilities. Invalidity of legal actions, consequences of invalidity”. The participants contributed to the discussion on the topic: “Consequences of violating obligations. Liability. Ensuring fulfillment of obligations”. Moderators during this discussion were Valentyna Danishevska and Yuriy Popov. Judges-participants of the seminar were handed out state certificates.
