On June 4, 2009 CLC jointly with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine held public discussion of the Law of Ukraine “On Bailiffs”. The Draft Law was positively evaluated by the public and legal community. The agreement was reached to further promote the idea of creating the institution of private bailiffs and to facilitate the adoption of the Law of Ukraine “On Bailiffs”. In the discussion participated the representatives of the EU Project “Transparency and Effectiveness of Judicial System”, State Tax Administration, Center for Political  and Legal Reforms, legal firms “Agency for the Issues of Debts and Bankruptcy”, “Vasyl Kysil & Partners” and “Salkom”,  Arbitration Court under the Association of Ukrainian Banks, European Business Association, etc.. The developers of the Draft Law are the Ministry of Justice and the Commercial Law Center.
