The New Program of legal education for entrepreneurs was launched based on the Cooperation Agreement signed between the State Committee for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship and the Commercial Law Center. It is planned to conduct a number of one-day workshops in order to cover almost all regions of Ukraine. The program is aimed to address the most important aspects of business activities, such as obtaining permits and licenses, scheduled and unscheduled inspections, business funding (bank loans, leasing etc.) The first workshops were conducted on November 3, 2010 in Lviv and on November 4, 2010 in Ivano-Frankivsk.

The workshop participants were acquainted with the methods of their rights protection and ways of commercial disputes resolution. A special focus was made on the changes in the tax system and reporting in the light of ongoing tax system reform. During an informal session, entrepreneurs received individual consultations and practical advice regarding the problems faced while doing business.
